WELCOME MESSAGEDear Commandeurs and visitors, the Council would like to wish all Commandeurs and friends a Blessed Lunar New Year, and may the dragon year bring good fortune, health, peace and lots of good Bordeaux wines to imbibe. We also had the pleasure of introducing our new Council for 2011/12, who was elected in our recent AGM held on 20 Apr 2011. The World Convention of Commanderies of Bordeaux will be held from 25-28 Jun 2012. We aim to continually update this website as part of of our ongoing efforts to serve our Commandeurs in Singapore better. At the same time, we welcome our fellow Commandeurs from other countries who are visiting this website in your endeavours to know more about us and our activities. Should you wish to join any of our scheduled activities, you are most welcome to contact us. For winemakers from Bordeaux or merchants of Bordeaux wines, we would be pleased to hold special events to showcase your wines to the Bordeaux drinking community in Singapore. Again, please do not hesitate to contact us. The webmaster of this site has recently uploaded photos of the past events held by the Commanderie onto a picasa web file. You can also read about the latest happenings in our global brotherhood, as reported by the Grand Conseil in France in the newsletter as well as participate in events held by the other chapters in the region in Jakarta, HK and Shanghai. Further, Territorial Grand Maitre in Hong Kong has been working closely with our Commanderie in Singapore to keep each other informed of our events. Members who wish to join in the events held in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Jakarta can check the tag under "Other Announcements" to view the event updates in those cosmopolitan cities.
