# Mr Agustin V Que, Le Maitre of The Jakarta Chapter announced that they "will celebrate the 4th Anniversary of our Commanderie de Bordeaux Jakarta's founding on Thursday, the 10th of December 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Garden Terrace of the Four Seasons Hotel with a black tie chapitre. Following our traditions, we will induct new Commandeurs that evening. If you or your members happen to be traveling to Jakarta, you would be most welcome to join us. Chef Vindex Tinker has prepared a delicious and innovative 5-course meal to complement 8 excellent wines from the commune of St-Emilion on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. These include Ch. Announcement by President of Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux:
"Dear Friend,
The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux organises this year again the Week-end des Grands Amateurs, in Bordeaux, 5 & 6 June 2010. The Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux suggested that we should inform you, so that you could share this information with members of your Commanderie.
Gathering under one roof 116 châteaux members of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux, the Week-End des Grands Amateurs is an outstanding opportunity for wine lovers from around the world to meet Chateaux owners or managers, and taste some of their finest wines (the 2007 vintage and another vintage between 1999 and 2006) in conditions normally only offered to trade and press members.
In addition to the tasting, members of the Union will welcome visitors for dinners in their châteaux. A special evening will also be dedicated to wine lovers between 18 and 40 and will be managed by young members of the UGCB. Finally, vineyard tours will be organised and a golf competition will oppose estate owners to wine lovers on Sunday. If needed, we can help you to set up you stay in Bordeaux.

S/no 8 : Territorial Grand Maitres (17 Apr 2008)
a. Grand Maitre has in his email highlighted the creation of the territorial Grand Maitres and the appointments of the various Territorial Grand Maitres. For some further background on this, please read the letters from the Grand Maitre of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux that mentions the reason for the appointment and the appointees. The appointment of Vincent Cheung of HK, as the territorial Grand Maitre Asia, was also communicated through a letter to Singapore.
